New Year’s Resolutions - Forget fad diets and focus on home security

Happy New Year from the team at eSafes!

It’s the time of year that we all benefit from a collective drive to change for the better. But while most on their waist size when it comes to New Year’s Resolutions, they might be better to forget the fad diet and focus on improving their home security.

Boosting home security with a brand new safe won’t just benefit you, but also your loved ones and housemates, and there is no better time to invest in additional security since most homes are teeming with added valuables in the aftermath of the Christmas holidays.

Many of you out their might have been lucky enough to receive wonderful, and expensive, presents over the festive period. What’s more, there is always added value to an item when it was a gift from someone special. From jewellery and watches to the latest tablets and home electronics, a home safe can ensure that you don’t fall victim to an opportunistic thief.

The big question you have to ask yourself is: what’s more important, skipping snacks for a few weeks until temptation strikes, or safeguarding your valuables for years to come?

A home safe that has a decent cash rating, and is approved by the Association of Insurance Surveyors (AIS) is relatively inexpensive purchase; well within the limit of all but the tightest of January budgets. For the price, many also offer some degree of fire protection which also makes them perfect for looking after passports, birth certificates, deeds and more.

If January is all about self improvement, why not improve the way you look after all of these important documents?

Over the course of the year ahead will be providing you with plenty of insight into the home security industry and shining a spotlight on some of the best safes available, from brands like Chubbsafes, Phoenix, Burton Safes and many.

So stay tuned to the eSafes blog and Happy New You.
